You guys are the absolute best, I mean it. Thank you so much. Last Friday afternoon, snow was flying, my garage door broke and in the up/open position. Their day was already booked with service calls in freezing cold snowing weather but bc they were in my area, they stopped and fixed, repaired and oiled it and now a 30 yr old door is working great and so quiet too. Thanks to the kind calm man on the other end of my panicking voice and the great guys who showed up You're awesome. So thankful for businesses like you and people like you. Jill Crowe

Above and beyond. Thats how Id describe Newark Overhead Door. Yesterday, the day before the first anticipated snow of the winter, I was getting my vehicles ready and hooking my plow up to my UTV. As I closed my garage door, I heard a POP. I noticed that one of the brackets that connect the sections of my garage door had snapped. It was 3:58pm. I got online and looked for garage door repair services in the area. Newark Overhead Door was the only one I could find that was open until 4:30. I called and explained what happened. I also explained that my driveway would be impassable with snow and I didnt think I could get my UTV out because of the damaged garage door. Oh yeah, and I mentioned that my wifes due date was the following day. The guy on the phone said he could have someone at my house the following day mid-morning or early afternoon. At about 10:30am the repairman calls. The first thing he asked was if I was a dad yet:) I told him "not yet." And I explained that hell probably have to walk up my driveway due to the overnight snow. I also told him that my driveway is about a of a mile and rises 110 feet from the road to our house. It's long & steep. He said OK, and I met the two of them at the bottom of our drive. They both then walked all the way up my driveway with me. Once we got to the top, they immediately started working on my door. They replaced the broken bracket in a few minutes. But what I hadnt noticed was that one of my springs had broken, which is probably what caused the bracket to break. With the bracket fixed the door could be opened and I could get the UTV out of the garage. One of the repairmen road down with me to get the springs. We road back up, and they replaced my broken spring (along with the other, old one). After driving them both down to the bottom of the driveway, we were finished. Im thankful that Newark Overhead Door was open until 4:30. Im thankful that they scheduled my service so quickly (about 18 hours after calling). And Im thankful that the guys went above and beyond to get my door fixed especially if our baby decides to come while the snow is still on the ground.
