Very much satisfied with their dry cleaning service. Their staff were so good as well and very professional.

My cleaner since the current owner's father was still on site 36 years ago. A wonderful business with the owners on premises. Very careful, very warm, very detail oriented. Their alterations tailor is FIT trained (Fashion Institute of Technology) and an absolute wizard at adjusting garments but maintaining the style of the original, including the hemming of sleeves and skirt or trousers to maintain the look. He also relines gentlemen's suit jackets and coats so your beautiful old cashmere and tweed can keep on keeping on. Many stars, and a lot of affection for this great cleaners. Note: NO CLEANING SMELL. Not ever on anything.

It was great when Bernie was there. Service now is truly awful .My laundry was 22 dollars. Without checking in with me they charged me 75 DOLLARS for a mattress cover. When I called about this I was told "so get another laundry" U R WARNED!

We just moved to town and I have been researching every service from chiropractors to cleaners. I have found a chiropractor that's just as funny, as goofy and great as the one we left behind AND, I've found a darling dry cleaners: Sutton Cleaners: On premises work (very important to me- kinda like farm- to- table), 35+ year history, no more expensive than the one I've been using closer to our apartment, and, Bernard who has been there 35 years is so friendly and knowledgeable, took time out of his day to talk to me about all manner of topics (not something I've normally run into since moving up from The Deep South ;-) ). I have a giant faux fur king-sized comforter, cream colored. We've been sleeping with the windows open as much as possible and, evidently, small particles of soot float through the air in NYC, so my comforter has all these black spots on it. Bernie has assured me they will come out. His price was also less than several I called ranging from $250- $90. After an hour of chatting (he even went outside with me to show me how the express bus system works), I left with a new laundry bag and happily made my way back home down to Chelsea. Also, they pick up and deliver. If I run into any glitches here, I will let you, dear readers, know. Otherwise, assume I have been correct in my initial assessment and take your things to charming Bernie!
