This location is amazing. I needed contact lenses on vacation and the service at this optometrist was excellent and efficient. Nala, the receptionist who took care of me was super helpful as well. She definitely deserves a raise. While I was waiting for my exam, I watched her in a difficult situation with another customer and she handled it like a true professional. Way to go Nala!

I have been going to the Cohens on 72nd and broadway for years- I think I got my first pair of glasses there in 2005, and first fitted for contacts in 2016. Ive been using Hubble for years (with no issue) but have heard they are not great. I came here because I had to renew my contact prescription with Hubble and to my knowledge Cohen's takes my insurance. This was a closer location to a meeting, so I went here. Surprised that they didn't take my insurance, but I was on a time crunch so I paid the $100 bucks. Exam was fine, and optometrist was nice, but for someone switching from a contact they've been wearing for 6+ years- she only gave me 2 trial days of a different contact. 2 days is not even remotely close to enough time to see if you like a new brand of contacts. I was hesitant to purchase a full 30-60 day supply because they were so expensive, big jump from the affordable contacts ive been getting. After I left, I looked online- and on their website it says they DO take my insurance. the woman at the front said they stopped years ago when I asked? That also felt not great. When they emailed me my prescription, I also had to ask for the rest of them (they didnt send glasses rx or Hubble just the mydays that prescribed) idk. I looked online and it was SO much cheaper to buy these new lenses elsewhere. I want to try something new and better quality- but this spot left such a bad taste in my mouth.

I am sorry to write this review. I am a businessman and like things to be straight. I used them because they accept the insurance. These people sell you a Ferrari and deliver a Corolla. In short, I had the eye examination. Two attempts to do it at first because their are so disorganized and cannot even find you in the schedule. After the first disaster, you see a doctor and order the lenses. They present options and there you go. Lengthy presentation with different types. I bought the best you can buy and I got scratching lenses. Cleaned with the cloth and spray they provided. What is worse, I went back to complain about the lenses explaining I cannot see better with these glasses. They told me my eyes need to adjust. Complete lie. Enough said. I will go back to the old company that sold me the real Ferrari. Will pay for the doctor. At least I know what I am getting.
