I had my TV repaired under LG Premium Care Plan few months back. The TV works like brand new. The customer service was great. I recommend Audio Video Service Center to all my friends in need of electronic repair.

I recently had an hdmi port on my LG flat screen go bad and Michael from audio visual came out to replace the part. He is a prompt, courteous, and professional employee. He was not bothered by my four active children as he quickly and safely removed and replaced the broken video card.

AVOID. Incompetent, irresponsible, unprofessional, and deceitful communicators. I took an nice Audio Research two-channel digital amplifier to be repaired, which the tech said he could do. He took a total of 6 months to try and repair it, but said he had a difficult time finding the right tripath module/chip to replace the old one. After getting one and trying to install it, he couldn't make it work. He then said he would need to send it to the manufacturer for their tech to repair. The manufacturer then asked him if I wanted to go forward with their repair estimate, and he failed to communicate about it with me until the manufacturer's deadline passed and they returned the item. I took the amp back in frustration. I now know, after sending the unit to the manufacturer myself, that the AV Service Center tech had destroyed much of the internal circuitry in his repair attempt and the manufacturer knew it. Audio Research's tech said the tripath module was "very poorly replaced," leaving open connections, and that "replacing that module again would be very difficult now because of the person that worked on it," making this a "bungled field repair attempt." The cost of the repair will now exceed the unit's value. So he effectively totalled my amp worth $1000, deceitfully hid from the fact, and refused to take any responsibility.
