Optometric Physicians of Middle Tennessee - Nashville

I don't know how this place has so many good ratings. I was told multiple times that since I was going in for a bump on my eye they needed my Medical insurance instead of my Vision insurance over the phone. Once getting there I was told this needed to be filed under my Vision insurance even though it was not a routine check up. Since I didn't bring my Vision insurance card with me the receptionist kept saying very loudly that I did not have insurance in front of everyone. I waited for an hour to only see the doctor for 2 minutes to tell me I had a sty that has since gone away since I made the apt because there was nothing available sooner. Let her know this is a reoccurring sty (and have pictures to prove it) but was told I have to come back next time it happens, instead of her calling me in a prescription. When checking out the receptionists once again loudly stated that I did not have Vision insurance and I corrected them AGAIN. Wouldn't recommend to a friend.

I participated in an eye study at this location and have been frequenting last fall. Every visit has been great. Staff is kind on the phone, at the desk and the opticians are great! They made it worth the hour drive there and back every couple weeks. I appreciate them always being kind when I come in with my family!
