Don C Kalant DDS & Dr. Michael Pink DDS MD

Dr. Pink (and the whole staff) was amazing! He helped ease my worried mind about my complicated, impacted wisdom teeth removal surgery. He answered any questions I had and was only a phone call away during the recovery process. The surgery nurse, Rose, was so caring and genuine. Even the front desk clerk, Kelly, was so a pleasure to speak to at each appointment check-in! I would recommend this office to anyone!

I didn't want to write this review but after today I felt compelled to. Perhaps I'll come back and change this if things are looking better but for now this is my experience. I was recommended to Dr Kalant for tmj issues and upon my first visit the doctor seemed knowledgeable and friendly. However then I needed an MRI scheduled and the chaos ensued. I had to call the office and my insurance (insurance was being a pain too) in order for them to work together to get approval for an MRI. It took weeks and each time I had to proactively reach out to the doctors office. Upon having the MRI I had a zoom call with the doctor to discuss treatments and after he said his staff would be reaching out to schedule surgery and make sure my insurance covers it. It's been over two weeks and I called on Wednesday to follow up and was told someone will call me back and it's now Friday and no phone call back. When I called the office I was treated so rudely and acted like I was being unreasonable. I am in pain and this has been going on for weeks soApologies for following up with the staff but unfortunately I believe if I don't follow up I will never hear from the office again. Pretty expensive and poor experience.

Covid protection is through but bizarre. They want you to sign in when arrive. After they hand you the pen n clipboard they tell you to first use hand jell! You better have your FULL payment ready! It's not done in payments. My appointment was at a specific time. I was told they are 15 late. That time was well past so I asked what my appointment time was. She lied to me! 40 min late.

The front desk staff was horrible. They were so rude about scheduling my son's appointment that I am actually switching practices. If they are so difficult now, can you imagine how they would be during and after the procedure.

I took my 14 year old son to Dr. Kalant to get a recommendation on whether he needed his wisdom teeth pulled.  Dr. Kalant recommended that we go ahead with the surgery and moved quickly into the details on what the surgery would entail.  When I asked questions to better understand why he needed them pulled he became annoyed and asked if I was an Attorney.  The cost of the visit was $200 and I still do not know if the extraction is necessary or if it is better to wait to see if he has any issues with crowding.  After paying for the visit, I asked for an estimate of what the extraction would cost.  I was told that they don't provide that information until after the surgery is scheduled.  I explained that knowing the cost would help me make a decision on whether I would schedule for this year or delay until next year.  I was told that it was up to Dr. Kalant to decide if I could have an estimate prior to committing to and scheduling the surgery.  I guess I will never know what Dr. Kalant charges for wisdom teeth extraction!
