Dr. Mamoon A. Rasheed, MD

This physician is the most personally and professionally egregious person I have ever met. I used to see the PA's at this practice, and never Rasheed, and when I moved back to the area, I decided to go back, and Rasheed walked into the room and continually started saying, "are you on drugs, are you on drugs?" I just sat there, in shock. I had never even seen the man before and that's the first thing you say to someone? Keep in mind, before that, I was a patient at his practice for years, and took regular drug tests for my ADHD meds, so I still have no clue why on Earth he would approach me like that, and honestly, it doesn't matter why. Then, I make it a point to see the PA the next time, and Rasheed purposely did not send in the prior authorization for my medication, and the office workers in Mt. Pleasant lied to my face that they did it, even though i was on the other line with my insurance company, saying flat out he never sent it, which put me without my meds for days. Who does that? The much nicer Connellsville office worker helped me instead. As a medical professional myself (I'm an RN), his attitude and professionalism is appalling and should be of great concern to the PA medical board. If you are looking for a doctor, and landed on this review, keep looking, unless you plan to see Chris the PA, and only him, because he's awesome. He's professional and a hell of a nice guy.

Dr. Rasheed is definitely not a good doctor for women. Hes a sexiest who will not listen to anything u say, will talk over u and walk away. Hes rude and has a complex. Words of wisdom stay away.

I have been going here for years and find everyone competent and friendly. Usually see the doctor or PA within a half hour.

Can't complain. Very thorough. I didnt wait long. He was patient and explained everything. Staff was remarkable!!! Thank you all so much. Update. I still have no issue at all with his staff. Amazing people. But today he told me he would no longer be doing my pain meds because my klonopin didnt show up in my urine! Im very confused because my klonopin is ordered to take AS needed and thats exactly how I take it. As I went to tell him to let me bring my bottle in to show him I have plenty of them left. He said he would not argue and hung up on me. I would never have argued with him had he let me finish and said no to bad I would have just said ok thats fine. My pain meds were in my urine. So Im just very very lost! I know the DEA is cracking down so I still am not mad at him exactly I just wish he had given me a chance to talk! I was only taking .5 mg oxycodone as needed a day so Im not even mad about losing them. Unless he wont see me anymore I still plan to use him as my doctor. Im just frustrated.
