        I would like to have given this place 5 stars but the guy who was working behind the desk has a nasty personality and doesn't look like he's a people person. As I was checking out I politely handed him the key and said have a blessed day and he looks at me with a blank smile and as soon as I walked away whatever he murmured to the lady next to him she giggled , Noone wants to deal with that type of customer service!

        Was highly impressed with this hotel. First time staying and I will return at a later date. Every single staff member was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Ted. Rooms are nice. Hotel is laid out perfectly and easy access to everything. I noticed that it was dog friendly as well! Pleasure staying here.

        We really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable & great ocean view. Excellent service from the front desk staff. Loved the warm welcome cookies. Really liked seeing that the hotel is pet friendly. Would have given a 5 star but the breakfast service was really slow that we thought about getting up and find food elsewhere. Lots to do in the area. We went to shackleford island to see the wild horse, the aquarium and visit Emerald Isle & Morehead city. Plenty of hotel parking. Definitely recommend hotel if youre looking for a beach trip. Excited to come back in the summer as they have an inside and outside pool. So dont forget that swimsuit if it is not nice weather. Rooms: Great view, comfy king bed with fridge and microwave. Nearby activities: Morehead city and Emerald Isle is nearby. There is an aquarium less than 10 mins away. Lots of places to eat. Beaufort is 20 mins away to catch the ferry to Shackleford island to see wild horses.

        What a joke. I am Diamond Hilton Honors so I stay in several motels a year. I did check-in with the app. the exterior door to hotel doesnt have key less entry. We walked all the way around in pouring rain because the awning was full of cars just parked. We were on 9th floor waited 15mins on the only elevator that was working. The hallways smelled musty, rooms were weathered and dated. Definitely wont be back.
