Ottos took one of our buses in for repairs when they were booking out weeks. It was repaired within two days rather than 6 weeks. So thankful for their service.

Needed help with a special project for a patient of mine. When I walked in, I was greeted by Chad. He went above and beyond to assist me. Thank you Chad for everything you did. Greatly appreciated!

4:20 PM (the previous night)- I experienced a severe breakage to the suspension on my 5th-wheel trailer while traveling through Fargo ND. I called several local repair shops that were unable to help me.
8:00 AM- I called Ottos Welding and Machine Shop because their website said they offer mobile welding. Spoke With Chad. He said I needed to bring it in for them to look at.
8:45 AM- I arrived at Ottos. Chad said he could repair it for me by the end of the day. He assured me that it may not be done exactly how I wanted it but however was easiest for him to do. I was never given an estimate but we both knew how desperate the situation was for me.
4:10 PM- I returned to the shop to see how the job was going. Chad told me that he said by the end of the day and never stated a time. He stated that he didnt appreciate it when customers kept pestering him about a job he was doing. I replied that I was only returning because it was the end of the day. He explained that he had problems with past customers that bugged him. He told me he had just finished tack-welding my part in place, so I left him to return to his work.
5:50 PM- I received a call that the job was complete. I returned to pick up my RV. Chad handed me some small metal parts and I was told they could be welded on the other side of the RV but he didnt have the time to do it.
The total cost to replace the broken trailer suspension spring hanger came to $9 for parts and $625 for his labor. I was once again reminded how he was doing me a favor and how much of an interruption this was to his day. I truly appreciate Chad finding the time to do this favor for me.
