Dr. Eisinger was not my first choice. However, after discussing my treatment options with several other orthodontists in the area, I did not feel 100% satisfied. I decided to visit Dr. Eisinger's office and was not disappointed. The whole team is very welcoming and Dr. Eisinger spent an hour meticulously going over my options. I felt like he cared about every tooth in my mouth. The treatment was a breeze and finished before the original estimate. The results are night and day compared to the smile I was born with. Despite paying more for the treatment than other orthodontists in the area quoted me, I decided to go with Dr. Eisinger because of his personal and caring approach to my orthodontic needs. Highly recommended.

At first, I was impressed by the fast resolution of the Damon system. It's fast, that's not the problem.The problem is that after paying over $7,000 for the system, you absolutely do not get what you pay for.On multiple occasions, I addressed concerns with my teeth and I was belittled and asked if I was "capable" of understanding rationales provided. Every time I brought up a concern, I was told "we'll address that at your next appointment." Most of the time, my appt WAS that "next" appt. Be ready to wait 1-2hours for a 10min appt, your concerns to be unattended to, and be ready to not be happy with your end result. Oh, and bedside manner...throw that out the window, super rude to his employees so much so there is high turn over rate & sometimes his staff cry during shift...it's ridiculous. In addition, I have met FIVE friends who have shared the same experience of a really poor end result.I am utterly displeased with my result. My bottom left bite remains poorly aligned, my top front four teeth are not level with each other (they are all a different height), my two top front teeth protrude (which has gotten worse since my braces came off), and bottom lower front teeth are also not straight, and two of my top left teeth fall notably lower than the rest (which causes over grinding when I chew). I'll definitely be needing braces again. Other friend have expressed their orthodontist actually took the time to make their smile look amazing. Eisinger does the bare minimum and it shows in the end result, thousands of dollars later. I'll definitely be getting braces AGAIN in another year, what a waste of time.

I really hate leaving bad reviews, especially when staff are so kind, but figured it might be worth it if I spare someone an unnecessary surgery. For reference, I am wrapping up treatment after less than a year of Invisalign with fantastic results beyond what I imagined possible thanks to Dr. Criswell at Monterey Bay Orthodontics. Dr. Eisinger, by contrast, said my case was too severe to make me a candidate for Invisalign and said my best option was jaw surgery. He also recommended an additional less-invasive procedure for optimal cosmetic results. If not that, he said I would need braces for 2 years. He said correcting my teeth without jaw surgery would give me major wrinkles and age me 20 years (I'm only 25, fwiw, and fortunately not thin-skinned or insecure)He said I had an overbite, which was surprising to me because I already had braces and my bite felt perfect - my upper teeth were just flaring out. Dr. Criswell diagnosed me with a tongue thrust issue and confirmed my bite was perfect. Anyway, I'm sorry to the lovely people who work here, but it never hurts to trust your gut and get a second opinion.

Hands down one of the most unprofessional and money hungry practices I have encountered here in Carmel. I called to schedule an appointment for a retainer adjustment by Dr. Eisinger who had make me an upper retainer. After the receptionist said that he doesn't do adjustments which he has and is a typical standard for retainers, I was quoted a price for upper and lower retainers. Why am I being quoted a price on retainers when all I need is an adjustment ( standard). They put me on the phone with 3 different people at his office to tell me that HE does not do adjustments and I could go to a different ortho for that. So let me understand this. He made me a retainer and I have gone in previously for adjustments but NOW his office does not do that but they were more than happy to quote me for 2 new retainers????? Absolutely insane and he must be the only orthodontist in the world who does not allow patients who bought a retainer through him to get them adjusted for free. I have never experienced something quite like this. They could not keep their story straight on anything. Money hungry office.
