I have used You Dirty Dog for many years and absolutely loved the service and experience. When ownership change happened I was optimistic that things would get even better. Today I had my first groom experience now that things have changed and I will say I am overall disappointed The groom quality was still very good and the people very friendly and helpful. But i was notified of a very significant price increase and more disappointingly they no longer offer self-service bath options and have removed the tubs that previously existed.
To comment back on the owners comment: I assume then that you are ensuring that you are covering the difference of the $20/hour that I have always tipped the groomers there?

Thanks for the opportunity to groom your pup! We’re sorry to see you go. It was very important to us when taking over the spot that our employees were well taken care of. That meant raising the prices so that the staff could be given a fair livable wage. We discontinued self serve due to a lack of interest and for safety reasons. But I can refer you to Pet supplies Plus and Pet Evolution, as they still do self serve.
