image Janene and Heidi are both a pain to deal with and super rude. They put in the lease a list of what you'll be charged for and for how much at move out if not properly dealt with, which is fine, but they illegally try to charge a percent on top of that. It's not legal to do that - don't let them get away with it, Reach out to Homeline to have them look over your lease to make sure there is nothing else illegal written in. Good luck!
It's also messed up that they responded to a negative review below using the person's first AND last name, when the last name isn't listed.

The lease was drafted by MN Real Estate Attorney and is legally binding. image I used Christy Living for a year and while the kitchen was lovely my roommate and I struggled with a mangy carpet, mold smells, a broken toilet, and missing window screens for some time. Upon my moving in we were directed to pay our deposits to the previous tenets. There was no walk-in for damages so when I moved out I covered the cost of things that were previously damaged. I was also told to clean the carpet that was not cleaned before I moved in. Thankfully I shared my thoughts and was informed that the carpet would be replaced, though I thought it was strange to only learn this from asking. I wouldve lost money for nothing.
Since Christy Living added a response that was quite nasty Id like to add that I have nothing further to say as everyone can see how they speak to people. I was simply leaving an honest review. I know of no Colton B but thank you for letting me know who previously stayed there. Hope you all get a new social media manager because this one had their panties in a bunch lol. We left the place better than it looked beforehand though so youre welcome

Upon taking over the lease of Lessee Colton B, who had previously left a review, you agreed to an addendum that held you responsible. Subsequently, we reached out to inform you that the carpet did not require cleaning as they were going to be replaced. Based on the state in which you left the property, it seemed evident that you had no intentions of cleaning the carpets since no effort was made to clean the house.

image I have been renting now for decades and I just recently became acquainted with Christy Living. This management company is the best rental property management company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I have been with them for almost two years now and they haven't missed a beat. They respond to me immediately anytime I contact them and have resolved all of my minor issues immediately on the property I am currently renting. Janene, my property manager, and Edward Nagel, my maintenance guy are ABSOLUTELY SUPERB! Ed knows how to fix pretty much anything. :) Also, they have been warm and inviting since day one. I am positive whether you are a property owner or someone looking to rent that you will absolutely thrilled to have Christy Living by your side to assist you!

image Upon move in the lawn was completely overgrown and the kitchen and bathroom were dingy along with big spots of carpet coming unraveled. There were mice as well. This property management company was not interested in customer service and needs to work on their communication skills and relationship with tenants. While living there they hired maintenance that were completely incompetent and had to have several maintenance people come out to fix simple things like a running toilet. They required us to maintain the snow removal and lawn and gave us a one time $150 discount and dont provide any shovels or lawn equipment. Ridiculous. At move out, communication was that bathroom floors and fixtures should be immaculate please make sure lawn is mowed and refrigerator should be absolutely clean which is insulting as it wasnt what we experienced moving in. Needless to say they want to keep your deposit and will knit pick your unit and try to charge you for thing that were damaged at move in. Honestly the worst property management experience Ive ever had. I had to fight with them with every little thing.
