My wife called this place to fix our clock. The receptionist quoted us $150 to fix and clean the clock. Deal. The guy came out to our house for 5 minutes and told us it would be $650 to actually fix the clock and never even cleaned it. But wait it gets better!!! I called their customer "service" rep and explained the situation. She had the sweetest voice! She told me the reason I was not going to pay was because I didn't make enough money!!!!🤣 DON'T WALK, RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Update...we ordered a $12 part and fixed the clock ourselves. Done and done.

I won a cuckoo clock at a local auction and needed to get it serviced. It was not working, so after contacting some shops, I decided to give this one a try. First of all, this is a family business run from a house. There is nothing wrong with this at all, but I just want everyone to know that. They don't have some large customer service department, nor do they have an entire staff of people fixing your clock. I think people should keep these 2 points in mind before making so many complaints. I do, however, have my own issues with this shop. First off, I received the clock, and indeed, it was working. It was keeping horrible time honestly, so I took it back. They said they would look into it. The clock came back with an entirely different pendulum than the original one, which, surprise, through off the timing even more. After this happened, it was about 2 months, so I requested a refund. Brad did grant my request, and I took it to another shop in D.C. It keeps nearly perfect time now, and the person at that shop said that the movement still needed cleaning. Although I got a refund, and did get the clock fixed, it was an incovenience and I cannot recommend this clock repair shop in good faith. Unfortunately, Richmond seems to be one of the worst cities when it comes to clock repairs. The Clock Shop of Richmond Limited, on West Broad, wanted way more than Brad did. I really wish he would have taken my clock and fixed it right, but he did not. Also, my original clock pendulum was never returned, despite several attempts to contact him.
