A few years back I paid these guys almost 13k and they did absolutely nothing but over-promise and under-deliver. I was 20 years old with no experience in the real world and my actions were impetuous. It such a bad experience/transaction and I would say this is more of a scam than anything. What you will first encounter is the "qualifying agent." Your first call to this company you will encounter a person that basically tells you that you have such a great idea and that they will take this invention to a meeting that week for which they will present your idea. The next week they will call you and tell you the "board" accepted it and they forward you on to the ultimate sales guy. This person then tells you that they need to complete a "market analysis" and about 4-6 weeks later you get a folder with a bunch of reviews about your product. Then comes the proposal... It was 13k with no room for negotiation. Long story short the patent of course didn't go through and the marketing company simply sends out letters to manufacturers that you have to send yourself(which is redundant) that just end up with a pile of mail to be headed to the trash without opening. Then about a year later they tell you that you basically lost ALL your money, have no patent and you can pay them more money to try and patent it again. Worse company and experience that I have ever encountered. I would tell anyone that is potentially partnering with them to rethink where your money is going. Go to a company that is actually legitimate or do it by yourself no matter how hard it is, you have a better chance of getting hit by lightning than securing a licensing deal with this company...
