If I can give this company -1 star I would, worst customer service, I will never never never never will book a cruise with this 3rd world cruise company, came and testing site was close, to get a test for my daughter mind you she has 2 pcr test already done and passed but they decided to close the testing site at 4 with no notice, you call customer service and they said it was known as Internal communication, so what about the public??? If I can stop people from sailing on this joke company I promise I will..

Im on oasis of the seas and won 56 bucks on slots a couple days ago. I went to play again and was told I lost that money because I didnt cash out that night. This cruise line is immoral. The ship is amazing but buyer beware.

Highly recommend to follow up with customer service center until you see the refund credited back to your account. Below include my not so favorable interactions with the customer service agents at Royal Carribean. Also, if the customer service agent (Kimonee) is adamant on issuing cruise credits as the refund, speak to a manager (Frank Garcia) to see if you can get the refund back in cash and credited back to your account, which I have done so. Placed in a $500 deposit summer of 2021 for cruise and sail date in April 2022 (Allure of the Seas). Due to strict COVID-19 protocols and vaccination requirements, we were not able to take this trip and requested a refund. Spoke to various agents (Kimonee, Frank, Lanie, Ryan, Daseia, Karen and Nicole) from the Royal Caribbean Cruise customer service line between November 2021 to March 2021 to request for refund. Agents recommended I call again once I receive an email regarding strict COVID-19 protocols applicable for sail date April 2022 and beyond. Spoke with Karen on 2/21/22 at 22:43PM EST. Explained that I received an update from RC that all sail dates on or after 2/25/22 require passengers to vaccinate. Requested for a refund of $500. Karen said she will process the refund and credit the funds back to credit card. May take 30-45 days to process. Spoke with Nicole on 3/7/2022. Followed up to confirm my refund of $500 is in progress. Nicole mentioned she does not see my reservation as cancelled. She also asked if this was a refund for a deposit or toward a package. Nicole placed me on hold to speak to an agent from Trade Handle Travel Agis (?) to see where my refund is. Nicole also mentioned there is no notes from 2/21/2022 and no notes that I spoke to Karen. Nicole then later confirmed there is a Karen and she did send a letter to validate refund. Karen did not receive an answer from that department as of yet. Nicole also mentioned my reservation did not appear as cancelled as there is another code in the system. The refund was approved and processed on February 22nd and need to wait 30-45 business days to see the funds credited back to my account. Reservation will be cancelled once the refund is received and they then can enter another code to cancel the reservation. Nicole said I should receive my refund by March 29th, and if not, to call back to inquire about the status of refund.

This was our first cruise (ever - Freedom of the Seas - 3 nights to the Bahamas). I think overall it was a good experience although I don't have another cruise to compare it to. For being first timers we bumped along just fine. Information desk was very helpful with explaining things. Luggage was promptly delivered to our corridor. Throughout the whole trip the crew were very friendly and polite, always making sure we were taken care of. I really appreciated the attentiveness to our state room. Food was great at all the complimentary restaurants and I enjoyed some being open 24/7! Some things I was surprised about - The shops had weird hours of operation and although their app said you could get OTC medications at a vending machine, this was not true. We couldn't find sunblock or ibuprofen, anywhere- even at medical (noted for next time). Also, the water slide had odd hours of operation. It was great to be able to be in the mix of things but also find a quiet spot. We will definitely explore future Royal Caribbean cruises.
