I went out last week. I enjoyed the boat ride out and back. I did catch 2 fish which was the most fish that anyone caught but that was because I brought along my own gear and lures. Out of about 11 others, only 1 fish was caught. I caught my first blackfin tuna and was super excited about that. I thought that the crew could have spent more time with the people that had never fished before. Even though the fish were not biting the cut bait, the crew could have been more engaging with the customers.

Not all fishing trips guarantee catching a fish. Live bait is optional $20. Bathroom could use a functioning toilet and hand wash. Rods and reels are outdated, but doable for the occasion. The travel time was counted for the fishing time as well so expect about a 1 hr delay. Would have been more fun to catch smaller fish in the bay vs traveling around for larger fish like tuna or mackerel. Overall it's okay for the price of $75. I would not recommend for a family with small kids since there is little room for them to run around and could fall over.

Pretty bad experience, think twice before using this charter company. Did the all day fishing trip and they did not put us on a lot of fish. The crew is not very professional, they spent the whole time in the back of the boat (with all the room by the way) fishing all day long, and not attending to the people who paid. I think the crew actually caught more fish than the paying customers. Most of the paying customers looked bored from from this pathetic experience.

When on this boat the crew the lady was very rude you will think she is running a booth camp . The reviews are very accurate. I asked a simple question the difference between life bait and the other one. She turned into an argument. I just walked away and sat down inside . AM post in real time..useless crew the lady needs to be trained

Terrible service, the attention is very lackadaisical and they are not interested in whether you fish or not. It is not worth booking this excursion. The crew (Erick and his girlfriend) start fishing instead of serving customers. They do catch because they use heavy weights and not like the ones they gave us that remain floating.

John,Appreciate you joining us for a day of fishing. We do our best to put our guests on the fish. The issue with the bathroom is ongoing concern, people break it almost every day - they kick it to flush - we already have replacement parts to change the system to a push button. We do communicate that there is travel time involved, our trips are offshore, however there is a bay trip that is very family friendly every friday afternoon starting July 1st from 1:45-530.Regarding the concerns about safety for small children, there are in fact railings installed all around the boat and they are the federally mandated height that are routinely inspected by the Coast Guard to maintain our licensing and certifications.RegardsCaptain DavidThe Reward Fleet

Cris,Apparently there has been a misunderstanding, the people you are deignating as "crew" are in fact paying customers as well that like to wear the Reward Fleet shirts which are available for purchase to the public. To allieviate this issue we have already ordered different shirts the the word "Crew" in large letters across the back of the shirt so there will be no mistake.Regarding the the fishing, we do our best to put the boat and our guests on the fish, but cannot guarantee which side of the boat or baits are going to work at that particular time or day. We do our best to ensure that everyone has a good time.Regards,Captain DavidThe Reward Fleet

Santiago,Am so sorry you had that experience with us. We cannot guarantee that everyone will catch fish, but we do our best to help everyone fish. We try to show everyone how to use the equipment and bait their tackle, but then we just let you fish.Next time if you need more attention please let us know and we will do our best to accomodate your needs.Thank youCaptain DaveThe Reward Fleet
