Have been coming here ever since my stylist moved to this salon. Great place! They aren't rushed to get you in and out. Very nice calm place to get a relaxing hair cut. Set up an appointment with Lucy before you show up and it is seamless. Enjoy!!!!

after attempting to go blonde at home i was left with baby chicken yellow roots and pumpkin orange everywhere else WITH PATCHES of light brown! it was HORRIBLE and i had to start school the following Monday. at the time i was unfamiliar with the metairie area so i had no clue as to where to go. i was around lakeside so i stopped there and found salon arte. walked in with a baseball cap and showed the stylist what she had to work with. she did an AMAZING job at fixing it and i walked out a believable blonde with all one same color. i wish i remembered her name. they were very nice in there and for the first time ever i got what i asked for in a color and cut. everywhere else i've gone has been a disaster including a certain chain salon where the stylist left me in the chair with foil highlights and lowlights. when i say left me i mean SHE LEFT THE SALON AND DIDNT COME BACK. the receptionist had to finish. she wasnt even a stylist! needless to say the color did not turn out well. im planning on doing blonde again and i'll probably be going back to salon arte.
