    Ask for Kent when you go there. I was impressed, you might be to. My purchase will be soon. Support our local small business please. BTW, not a GODZILA size store, but they can get the product you want.

    Buyers Beware! They took our money! We were stiill shopping in store for what we wanted and got information on one and a price. The sales person Elaine applied some pressure to purchase. She was knowledgeable about the fireplaces so we ordered on Saturday July 2021 ($3,500!) that was going to be in the store the next week. We (immediately) decided we would cancel the gas and order an electric one from them instead but it was Saturday and they were closed. On their next business day,Tuesday I called to ask them to stop the order so we could purchase an electric one from them. For the FIRST time I was told there are no refunds. She put the owner Ken on the a phone and he wouldn't budge; no refunds. Even though we did not receive it or even see it and within 72 hrs. It was never disclosed to us prior to the purchase there were no refunds and not posted where customers could see it. I foolishly though it was safe to purchase from them since I knew we were having a fireplace built. We decided on an electric one for several reasons one of them so our daughter (with special needs) could comfortably use it. I sent them a letter (respectful) requesting a refund with no response. I tried to have my credit card company refund it; although they thought it was immoral that they kept our $3,500, they couldn't get in the middle since I approved the purchase initially. They could refund me IF the store sent me a letter or something saying they agreed to refund me. They also said the owner stated he was willing to "work with me" (oh now?) and if not court is an option. (Really-- all this?) it was October by then. I contacted Ken and he said maybe we can work out a."small" restocking fee (restock!? it never left the store). He said he would call me back on Tuesday. No call back. I waited a few days and called him back. He then wanted to wait for some process regarding my cr card company/bank until the end of the month-- the 27th. I called my cr card company; they were not pending anything and thought potentially he was waiting for the date the cr card company could no longer be involved. I called back to the store a few days later and he was "busy" couldn't come to the phone--next two times. I sent a letter requesting a refund and I offered $25 to restock (something I never saw) to honor my word to settle this. They responded with a re-stocking fee of a whopping $800! They took $800 of our money and it took 3+ months to even refund a part of our $. I filed with the Better Business Bureau and they did not even reply to them. For anyone wondering I was ALWAYS civil and respectful--and waited to give them a chance to do the right thing before I posted this feedback. This is typically not my thing, but buyers need to beware. They never address the real issue-- thatthey did not disclose a no -refund policy. There is NO safety issue in "returning " gas fireplace that never left the store or opened!. They are not sorry for keeping $800 that does not belong to them.
