        We had a very simple fix for a tub/shower head combo in which a small piece fell into the drain that was needed to allow water to be diverted to the shower head instead of the tub. To fix the existing old chrome spigot with a piece from a new set that we had already purchased at Lowes for $100 cost us an additional $289 for a hand twist and less than 15 min of time. This was completely overpriced and our tub spigot is not even fixed because now we will need to go get parts rather than use a $100 set that we had hoped could be completely replaced for one tiny piece. We were quoted $1,000 to actually replace the tub faucet with a set that we had already purchased from Lowes, which we promptly denied. This is more money an hour than I could ever make and I spent years earning an advanced degree. Ridiculous price gouging!
