East Memphis Orthopedic

I am a patient of Dr Peter Lindy at East Memphis Orthopedic Group. I have been going here for quite some time, he has done my shoulder surgeries and knee replacement. I was very pleased with the outcomes and fast recovery. Dr Lindy has great bedside manners, he listens without interrupting and then he addressed all my concerns. Dr Lindy gives you a thorough explanation, so you have no doubt. He has a sensitive approach towards your feelings, which shows he cares. He is dedicated and compassionate, he goes beyond and works timelessly towards a healthy outcome. The staff is so courteous and professional from the front desk to all who work behind the scene. I also, recommend the Physical Therapy, a small but qualified staff. I would like to say, thank you for being my doctor. Very A Class.

Don't try making an appointment before 9am! I visited an ER with a shattered knee. I was referred to East Memphis Ortho by the hospital as the attending physician was associated. They all spoke highly of him and perhaps he is amazing - I never got to find out. I called the following day as instructed to make an appointment. The offce hours indicated that the practice opens at 8am. I called around 815am. The woman that answered the phone was VERY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUSSSSSS. She SNAPPED at me and told me I cant make an appointment until 9am, as if I am SUPPOSED to know this. Yes, I regularly see an orthopedic surgeon. So I went elsewhere and had surgery the following day. They really need to hire more professional and empathetic people to answer their phones. They'll lose a lot of patients otherwise.

The verdict is still out....not too crazy about this place only been once will give another chance maybe....Dr's bedside manner was not the best maybe he was tired since it was evening. He took another patient who came in after me before me had me sitting in a room had to ask how much longer. Then he mentioned medicine which he didn't call into pharmacy. The front desk need more people skills or other people skills besides their friends. Like I said the verdict is still out and I'm not sure about this place yet. Cheryl Fisher not Carolyn

Dr. Lindy is knowledgeable, patient, kind and thorough. I always feel like I am his only patient as he is willing to spend as much time as needed to examine, evaluate and explain what is going on. He returns phone calls in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Dr. Lindy and the whole staff at East Memphis Orthopedic.
