Kickboxing here for 10 weeks now. This place is perfection. The vibe here is unmatched, the coaches are gop quality, the energy is high and positive, great music too. Their provide nutrition consulting. Best part, the team/coaches here will track and work on your body metrics so it truly helps you can track achieve your goals eg. Weight, muscle dimensions, fat %. They also use apps for management, performance tracking and for individualized coach-to-trainee feedback. Think of any aspect, they are the best. High recommended this place

I joined their transformation program and had an absolute blast with it. When looking at what the individual wanted to obtain, the last thing they wanted to hear was a weight number. They are more focused on helping someone gain a healthier lifestyle that fits them so they will use it long term instead of short fast results with no longevity. I kept going after the program was finished and classes are a lot of fun. If you aren't going too much, they may check in on you - which honestly is a great way to keep me motivated to keep going. Great staff and family business!

UPDATED REVIEW: Warning!! TLDR; good program but be cautious of doing business with these owners!! I had been looking for the way to update my 2021 review of this dojo for a while and finally figured out how. I was a member back in 2021, a friend of mine was an instructor and encouraged me to join to help me get in healthy headspace while coping with my dad being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. While the membership was expensive - at the time it was a godsend escape and I had given a review at the request of the owners. I gave them a 5 star rating which I still stand by when it comes to the classes I took (most of the instructors I had have since left so cant vouch for how it is today). However, I had an experience with one of the co-owners that was so shocking and upsetting that I needed to change my review as a warning to other. When my dad was being moved into hospice status, I had to take an extended leave to go care for him too far from Medford to be able to make it to any classes. I had tried to work with my instructor friend and this co-owner to pause my membership for the months I would be away; again it was an expensive membership and pausing was a feature they offered standard in their contract. Because of the chaos of what was happening in my personal life, when I spoke to this instructor and this co-owner about what was happening and what I needed to do with my membership, I made the incorrect assumption that since she was a co-owner of the dojo, she was able to take care of pausing my membership, she also never told me about any additional steps I needed to take. In fairness to her, I never went back to re-read the fine print of my contract so I didnt realize the process hadnt been completed per their contracts written terms. There is no argument there. After my dad died, I returned to Medford and wanted to resume these classes that had been so therapeutic. When I called, I was informed that my membership had never been paused. I checked my bank statements and sure enough I had been charged each month, adding up around $600. I asked to speak with this co-owner as she and I had spoken previously about this and I was trying to clear up the confusion. She refused to talk to me on the phone but confirmed through the receptionists that that was accurate as I didnt do the proper steps to actually pause my account. Long story short - not only did the co-owner refuse to reimburse those months or credit them for future months - she told me over a series of emails that I could use my last months payment as my final payment to cancel my membership; something I had had no intentions of doing. I was horrified by her absolute lack of humanity and expressed as much but confirmed that I would indeed cancel my membership as I could no longer support a business that would treat its customers in such a way. As if this experience wasnt bad enough, the most disgusting behavior came from our final interaction: my friend who was an instructor there had to request the day off from this co-owner to attend my dads funeral. She was fully aware the funeral was this day as not only had my friend requested the day off, she had also asked that the co-owner not reach out to me that day about what was still an unresolved issue at the time. Not only did the co-owner ignore that request and email me anyways, she demeaningly explained to me that life is hard for a lot of people not just me and that it doesnt excuse breaking the terms of a contract. She told me that my personal life has no bearing on my professional agreements and I should remember thatAnyways, the classes are great but maybe avoid this business or at least be sure you read the contract twice!!
