so, they e-mail an announcement that they are closing the gym with less than 48 hours, assuming everybody is just going to follow them to a new location and without giving anybody enough time to decide what to do so they can still charge them. classy move

Its a nice sized space but is really getting run down. There are places in the floors where the rubber is coming up, there are missing weights in the fixed weight rack. They dont have wipes/spray readily available in all areas to keep equipment clean. A few of the machines are quite squeaky and have been that wait for months. They have a very sparse kettle bell collection. I wonder if they are putting money into the new gym being built in Malden and neglecting this location

I've been a member since this location opened. At first it was very clean and then it got really dirty especially in the locker room. really nasty. As management changes the club either is very clean or it's not at all. one thing that keeps bringing me back is the spinning classes by Ana. I absolutely love her classes, high energy, great songs and just overall great classes every time. I also love Elizabeth and Jaqui's classes are really good. If they leave. These instructors deserve 5 stars. I'd have given it 5 stars, but the dusty equipments and dirty bathrooms can't be overlooked.

my complaint is in regards to the unprofessionalism of the General Manager Renee Donovan. On November 23 around 6pm EST time I was training at the crunch fitness located at 295 Middlesex Ave, Medford, Ma 02155 when the incident occurred. I was training in the gym doing deadlifts when the General Manager Renee Donovan approached me and asked me not to use chalk in the gym because it was not allowed and was giving me a warning which I agreed to and I understood. After this encounter she approached me 5 minutes later in a different part Of the gym handing me a broomstick and a dust pan and said these words to me Youre gonna go clean that up. She had no reason or right to behave this way she had already given me a warning that I accepted and then she decided to escalate the situation further in a very immature and unprofessional manner. Her actions were disgusting, unprofessional, immature, and abusing of her position. I felt very offended when she did this she has no right to try to humiliate me in this manner I truly felt discriminated and degraded I want to get in contact with her superior or superiors because they should not have a General manager who behaves this way in charge of their gym.

Great gym with lots of free weights. Rush hours are quite full. Like the 2 areas they have for dumbbells. Only downside is the bathroom
