        My son went to tutoring lessons there for math. Their policy is to lock you into a contract for a year as a first time student but after that year you can cancel at any time. I cancelled my sons contract and the center never responded. They continued to charge my account and when I followed up, I received no response from the Director. I left voicemails and emails and never received a call with an explanation or my money back that they charged after I cancelled. So if you want to fight an expensive cancellation process and have terrible customer service when the issue arises, feel free to use Mathnasium of Mechanicsville.

      Hi Ellie!Per your membership agreement discussed and signed on the day of your enrollment, membership termination requests must be made in writing by the 20th of your final desired month of attendance. We did make an exception and allowed you to take a break for 2 summer months without collecting payments, but we did not receive anything in writing about ending your membership. Our team attempted to reach your family once the summer hold months ended, but with no response. You did reach out to us recently, and we apologize for the breakdown of communication this past month. We were able to make another exception and refund you for the months your son did not attend.We are grateful for your patience as we worked through this situation, and we are glad your son had a positive experience during his sessions! We hope you choose to return one day.
