Hi Mr. Abunabah, hope you & your family are having a nice Sunday. I really appreciate the review, and I am all for being able to look back at our program for opportunities where we can improve. Based on your review it sounds like this is something that happened during the ‘22/‘23 school year, +/- a year ago, so I will be looking more into it tomorrow when I get to the school and will report back here. Again, thank you for reaching out. Update - (2/28/24) Hi again Mr. Abunabah. I walk thru my school almost everyday, have been doing it for almost 19 years, and there are two things I listen out for; 1) what am I hearing from the children - laughter & happy voices or cries & angry voices, and 2) teachers voices - soft & encouraging or harsh & loud. I do this because the environment here is important to me and I want for each child to want to come to school everyday. If I am hearing cries & angry voices or teachers who are being loud and harsh I know someone is not happy and whether it's the child or teacher doesn't matter, I know there is a problem that needs to be solved. I mention this because I recall your son being very happy here, and if you or your wife were not happy, because no one is required to stay enrolled here, why go the entire year without bringing these concerns to us and why bring your son here everyday if he thought his teachers were being "very mean" to him? Sharing a cup is a sanitation violation and is unacceptable here, and if this is ever seen I would sincerely hope it to be brought to a Director's attention immediately. I really wish your wife would have notified someone of what she saw. The classroom your son was in has a water fountain for children to be able to have water throughout their day. The fountain has a cup dispenser mounted next to it on the wall and the children are taught to each use a cup when they want to get water. At meals, since we serve breakfast, lunch & afternoon snack, the children sit at tables and are each given their own cup in which we serve them milk for breakfast & lunch and water for afternoon snack. It is not uncommon for children to want extra milk or water and for a teacher to fill a clean cup up and walk around using it to serve children by pouring extra into their individual cups instead of carrying around a jug or pitcher.Although this happened so long ago we can still use the information you have provided by sharing it with our staff for training/reminder purposes.
