        Recently had an appointment with Dr Shelton. Front desk staff were friendly. The exam went well and Dr Shelton took time to ensure all my questions and concerns were addressed and that my prescription was correct. Picking out my new frames was also super easy. Overall, it was a great experience.

        I just got off the phone asking when your 1st available appt was. And the young lady that spoke to didn't say her name, and said August bluntly. I'm experienced with many years of CSR and MGMT. She does need some guidance with the training on speaking to people (no personality) I would say your reviews are correct, sorry I will look for somewhere else that makes me as a customer welcomed.

        The Dr was nice and professional. The receptionists need to find another Job. They don't like the Job they have because Everytime I went in there they were rude . You could tell they didn't want to deal with the public. I would have gave them five stars if it wasnt for the two at the front desk.

        Would not recommend on the sole fact that the receptionist is very rude and not a good face for this business. Clearly not the only one with this issue based off the other reviews. She did ask if I wanted to speak to the Doctor but followed it with but the doctor will say the same thing and you will be talking to me again. Then claimed to be "trying to help" she was not trying to be helpful at all she was trying to be "right". She wasn't interested in trying to figure out our insurance issue until I came into the office and handed me a paper. Why not ask me to speak to doctor then?

      Sorry that happened. I have several in training right now and I am sorry if the person came off with no personality. I will talk to them about that. Once a person is fully trained they usually have more confidence and are more at ease on the phone. If you have been in management then you know how it is to train someone. Our first available for a routine visit may be August as of now, but we have a wait list to get people in sooner, or if there is an immediate concern if the primary care doctor, school nurse, etc... sends the referral we can get a sooner time even if the doctor has to come in early or stay later for the patient to be seen. I do understand with your experience on the phone if you want to find another place, but you should give us a chance to prove ourselves if you have never been here in person.

      Thank you for your feedback. I have been looking to hire additional staff to allow them to be less stressed and overwhelmed, but so far have not found anyone capable of doing the job.

      Sorry for the misunderstanding. I tried to call this morning, but had to leave a message. If you want to speak to me personally about the matter please return my call. My receptionist asked you to speak with me the day you had the issue, but you would not.
