Madison Tae Kwon Do is the oldest Tae Kwon Do school in the area and the instructors have years of experience. Grandmaster Chung is tied for the highest ranking black belt in the world, and Master Augelli is the youngest 7th degree black belt in the world. Not only are the instructors impressive, but they are great teachers and really care about the kids and their leadership development inside and outside the school. You're just not going to find a school like this elsewhere.

Grandmaster J.B. Chung has been teaching Tae Kwon Do in Madison for over 50 years. He is internationally known for his skill and dedication to the art form. The instructors are highly qualified. In addition to Grandmaster, there is one 8th degree master and two 7th degree instructors. Their style focuses on mastery of the technique over belt progression. They do keep the classes fun though. I've taken classes since I was a teenager and it has changed my life.

My children have been coming to this school for 2 years and they love it. The instructors and grandmaster Chung maintain a strict and formal setting, and because of that, this taekwondo studio has helped them grow immeasurably. My daughter has more confidence and poise, and my son has demonstrated more respect and has buckled down in school. Both are also confident they can defend themselves in an emergency, something we did not find at the studio we went to before this one. This is the best martial arts studio in the state, and I highly recommend it.

Madison Tae Kwon Do School is the best martial arts school in Madison. Our son has attended the school for the last 10 years. He has achieved the rank of 1st degree black belt. Grand Master Chung does an amazing job teaching his martial arts students discipline, respect, control and self defense. All the Masters and Instructors do a great job. Our son has learned so much and has used so much of what he has learned in his everyday life.
