Lazy and not accountable for picking up the trash on time and not so good customer service.

Ever since the car moved from in front of my house the garbage man now finds the need to back his VERY loud truck one inch from my home. He never in 13 years did this before. 8am this truck driver wakes me up and scares my cats! I'm NOT impressed Service: Trash removal & disposal

I have been a customer of Republic Services - and the two companies that preceded it - at the same Edmonds address for over twenty years. The last three times I have left out my recycle bin, it has not been emptied. It was next to several other bins which were emptied, so it was in the right place. I had continued to use the bin from the previous company, Rabanco, which was a different color (green), but Republic had told me that was fine. Apparently, they didn't tell the driver, since he ignored that bin twice. Finally I asked for a new recycle bin that was the "right" color (blue), and Republic gave me a 32-gallon blue toter that had my address both on the top and the side facing the driver. I thought I was all set. This morning, through, the driver again ignored my blue toter, yet emptied all my neighbors' next to it. My account has always been paid in full in advance. It's true that I am away from this address frequently and do not leave my bins out every cycle, but it is too much to ask that a Republic driver knows who is a customer, regardless of the frequency of pick-up or color of the toter? I have given up on this company and will be taking garbage and recycle to the dump myself.

We have been using republic services since start of October 2022. Since the beginning of the services, it has been unprofessional at best. Recently we ordered a waste container and it was delivered unexpectedly. On top of this, the representative told us the container would be 15 yards long and failed to tell us 15 yards was measured by the inside of the container and its volume. In addition to this the container was picked up two days late. During this time it rained heavily which would have added to our gross weight. If this wasnt already enough, we were quoted below $500 and have the contract to prove it. Today we received the bill and it is $1000+ dollars. To top that off we spent 5 additional hours talking to customer service and we were guaranteed a refund. We havent heard back nor have we been given any kind of rebate. If this is not resolved we will be filing a small claims suit against your company. Services: House & garage cleanouts, Dumpster rental
