This is from Wanda B. Clark. Dr. Thomas M. Bergamini failed me and as a direct result of his refusal to correct my right renal artery issues I suffered a stroke! If he remains in medical practice as of 11/30/2021 please think twice about his caring for you or your loved one. Please, get a second opinion. I had called, maybe twice, his office manager and left a detailed message about his lack of correct care for me yet I have yet to have a response. This was several years ago, maybe 5. Oh how I regret not taking legal action against this Dr. His lack of correct treatment for me was pure neglect.

Dr.Thomas is one of my family members doctor. He is very thorough and to the point. He explains his surgical plan to his patient and family members. He explaines ALL questions his patient has and we have so everyone on board understands. The office staff is very nice. The Surgical Care Scheduler, Diane, scheduled other doctor appts. for his patient (my family member) that Dr. Thomas recommended his patient see prior to surgery. Diane scheduled those appts. to accommodate the patient. She is a blessing!!

This office is absolutely ridiculous.. my mother had carotid artery stenosis and the range was up to 99%, which I have since found out is extremely life threatening. I talked to some woman on the phone with such a strong accent that I could barely understand her. She informed that me that the next available appointment was 4 months out. After pleading my case to this woman, she kept putting me on hold and it seemed like this went on forever as she said she was going to see what she could do. This was so frustrating and my entire accumulated hold time was close to 45 minutes. She then, finally had me speak to a manager by the name of Holly whom was just simply rude and not concerned about my position or Mothers health at all. She sounded like a teenager and when I expressed my concern of my mothers health, she was, again rude, and put me on hold for 20 minutes. I called back and specifically asked to talk to Holly again and it went straight to her voicemail. The first girl acted like she had no knowledge of any sort and made me nervous about even having my mother as a patient. I then called back and asked to speak to the practice manager or anyone else in management and I was told that the only other manager was out for the day and given no other options. Whomever is managing this company seriously needs to rethink their (and their patients) severity of their condition, they need to train their staff better and teach them appropriate customer service. I assumed they would be trained appropriately and have some sort of knowledge of the vascular realm. The two young, unprofessional and uneducated girls that I spoke to assured me that this was not the place that I would or should take a loved one to. I find it extremely hard to believe that either of these girls were in management, and if so... definitely should not be. I have found another fantastic vascular surgeon for my mother since this incident and would recommend anyone and everyone to seek medical help elsewhere. The other surgeon was able to see us that week as they told me how life threatening her condition was because of her percentage being so high. This facility is apparently ran by a bunch of children who do not care about their patients at all. The staff is horrible.
