I needed a smog check for my car and unfortunately it didn't pass the first time. After taking my car to the mechanic and fixing the issue, Blossom Valley Smog retested my smog for free! They have a free retest if your first test doesn't pass. Thankfully my car was fixed and passed the second smog check. I would highly recommend this spot.

I requested a quote online from the shop through the yelp app and they even gave me a discount.  The smog check was fast and professional.  Also, the place is now a Chevron, not a Valero.

Stay away from the smog testing guy. I took my car in and the first thing he did was rev it WAY to high. A lot! I never treat my car that way. He then proceeded to do the rest of the smog check, then charged me $60 just to tell me that it failed because he saw smoke when he revved it up. It passed everything else. He just failed it because he saw smoke when he brought it up to much higher RPMs than that car ever gets.I then took it to a real smog check guy and told him the story. He said he would have to rev it up too. I told him to go ahead. He revved it to a normal RPM and like magic, no smoke. He did the full smog check and it passed.That guy at the Blossom Hill Valero smog check station has no clue about cars. Don't trust him with your car.

I don't know what's going on, I received a quote on December 26 for a smog test for a flat fee of $29.00. Just show the Yelp reply to the technician. I went yesterday the 29th and was informed the technician called in sick. I showed the Yelp reply to the person working at the station and asked if it was valid. She said no, that was from the old owners and they weren't Valero anymore. The fee would be $68.00. So the place changed hands in three days? I don't know what's going on, but it was a waste of time and I went elsewhere to get a smog test.

Fast smog, only took 10-15 minutes from the time I pulled in. Employee was very friendly too.
