I reserved a timed ticket for ECF Downtown Art Center not long after its grand opening, with the idea that it'd make a fun me-date. Fast forward to today: ready for some some art-seeing after a heart-bruising week. (Hyphens are my coping mechanism. Don't judge.

Definitely go when they open if you are trying to get into the Infinity Room exhibit. We got there when they first opened on a Sunday morning and it was still packed and a 2 hour wait. By the time it was our turn they were already reserved for the entire day.

I stayed in downtown Los Angeles for a few days and decided to check out ECF Downtown Art Center museum. I tried to book reservations in advance but they were booked up until April/May so I took my chances and came here around 10AM (museum opens at 11AM).

Great museum and on top of that it's free!! A must see is the small Yayoi Kusama exhibit. Great selection of art and the number of people allowed in the museum doesn't make it super crowded. Cool selection of gifts on the store as well, just doesn't list all the prices and you need to ask. I can't wait for pieces to be switched out to check out other art. Expect lines to get in, people even get there early to be in standby line to get in or if they have reserved tickets.
