The best...Ever. They've closed their doors and I'm so sad. JS did all my framing for many years. They were true craftspeople. Bob, who worked there for decades, had great taste. All their work was done by hand and they had a way of eliminating seams on frames that nobody else seems to be able to achieve. Yes they were expensive. Yes they took forever. Yes they were not always customer service oriented. But it was all worth it. RIP

If I could give these people a 0 for a review, I would do it. I brought in an oil stick drawing for framing. They gave it back to me framed, with the four corners of the paper fastened down on the mat, which created a big bulge at the bottom of the image. I bought it back and asked them to flatten out the drawing and remove the hinges at the bottom of the paper. I called several times to see if it was ready and no one would return my calls. I went in to see what was going on and they couldn't find my drawing. Finally, when they located it, I saw that they had made the paper look even worse. It was as though they had applied a humidifier to the paper and added a bulge at the top of the image. The paper was damaged. I asked them to pay for an expert in art restoration and they refused. Take it from me, a very unhappy customer, these people are sloppy, rude, and ready to retire from the framing business.
