I am really disappointed and dissatisfied with Dr.Vora.
My dad passed away in May of 2021 and Dr. Vora was his oncologist.
He came highly recommended for his compassion and ability to extend the life of patients whom had odds stacked against them.
He went very aggressive on chemo for my father when another oncologist recommended we ease into it. We decided to trust Dr. Vora because he sold us on his plan. His aggressiveness caused my father to have a massive stroke and spend a month in the hospital.
In that time, Dr. Vora visited a few times but refused to look at the cancer again because he was confident that my father had enough chemo in him to prevent the cancer from growing. My dad got sent home from the hospital and ended up being taken back into the hospital by ambulance a few days later.
The new doctor took scan of my father and saw that the cancer had spread and made my fathers liver so swollen he couldnt speak and and was in excruciating pain. He passed away a few days later at home. My dad had bile duct cancer and the odds were stacked against him the day he got the diagnosis. Our family feels that Dr. Vora was irresponsibly confident and wouldnt even take a look at the cancer.
We know it probably wouldnt change the outcome, but atleast my dad wouldnt have had to suffer through as much pain as he did.
If you are reading this, beware of Dr. Vora and his very flashy style and fancy shoes.
