I have been working with Chris Smith and Capstone Mortgage since moving to MA in 2002 and we have worked together many times.  I have the highest regard for Chris and her team.  She takes the time to explain all options well and takes the stress out of the finanicing piece of the real estate process.  The team makes sure they deliver as promised and always come through.  I will continue to use them and I recommend Captsone Mortgage highly.

Over many years, my wife and I have worked with Chris Smith and her team at Capstone on several occasions and each time we have been very pleased.  Chris explains things clearly and most importantly, there are no surprises when the deal is complete.  Our children have secured mortgages through Capstone as have many of our friends.  We highly recommend Capstone Mortgage!

My wife and I have been working with Chris Smith at Capstone in Lexington for nearly 20 years through our first home purchase, several refinancings, and more recently a new home purchase. To say that shes professional, efficient, and effective would be true, but misses the point. Chris cares deeply about her clients, explains each step in the process, and ensures the mortgage you expected is the mortgage you get. I am not even sure I can write enough words to tell you how amazing Chris Smith and her team is. I have used Capstone Mortgage twice now. The first time around my husband and I were first time home buyers, we were nervous, stressed, and rejected by other brokers. Chris assured me not to give up. Buying my first home wasn't what you think it would be, its exhausting, stressful, and down right frustrating. But Chris was there every step of the way. Always coaching us and cheering us on and never letting us fail. Once the process was done all I can remember saying was, Chris was the one and only reason I have my first home. The second time around needed some patience too. We needed to sell our home at the same time as buying the new one in order to have the finances needed. She again was there every step of the way. She answered every question and picked up every call no matter the time or day or how many questions I asked. I am now settled in my new home and all I can think is, it was Chris that made this happen and got me through all the stress. I dont just tell people to use her, I beg them too. I know they will not be disappointed no matter how large or small the mortgage is going to be. She never discriminated my small budget and fought the banks tooth and nail when they wanted to back out. Its all due to her that I am now living in my dream home. Capstone Mortgage, specifically Chris Smith and Amy, have made the world of difference in each and every transaction I have had with them. The process from beginning to end has been seamless!! Chris's uncanny ability to multitask throughout the transaction, keep all parties on target and informed has kept all parties at ease. I would never imagine working with another Mortgage Broker.
