I needed to check out this joint because a few friends of mine said that a Stuart Mercer brand shirt would last well over 10 years. The place was pristine, not a single tie out of place. The selection was great. Beautiful ties, delightful colognes, outstanding cufflinks that were pretty yet masculine, Italian belts, jackets for any occasion and, of course, mens suits. The service was even better than the products. Despite my shaggy beard, I was treated with more respect in this store than I ever have been treated as a first time customer in any establishment. They offered beverages, put sports coats on me, took time to explain to me what they would do to tailor it to fit me better, walked me through the different occasions different jackets would be best for and even explained to me the benefits of different inner linings compared to their other products. If you need a classier place to shop for mens clothing, you'll need to get an international flight to start your search.

I used this shop to get a vest custom made for my wedding suit, and I'm glad I did. The materials ordered were excellent as is the workmanship of the piece. But what really stood out was the service, not only at the point of sale, but afterwards. When I gave them the date of the wedding, they made it clear that it would be cutting it very close to get the vest finished and shipped to them in time, and they moved heaven and earth to try to get it as quickly as possible. They were even willing to ship it overnight express across the country to my wedding location if it arrived the weekend before the date. Unfortunately, it didn't get to them in time, but they did everything within their power to get it to me. I highly recommend them. Just be a little smarter than me and give them more than 2 months to conjure a bespoke vest out of thin air.

Got a suit for my wedding from Stuart that I've worn for a few other occasions as well. He tailored it perfectly and any alterations/repairs I've needed since he's done for free. I love the suit, the way it was tailored, and the service I received. Also in response to the one negative review from the gentleman saying he felt looked down upon, I showed up covered in horsehair, sweat, and with a good sprinkling of barn dirt as I happened by the place while chance when passing by and still I received nothing but the best service from the moment I walked in.

My fianc and I have had a wonderful experience with Stuart Mercer so far! We are creating a suit for our upcoming wedding and the experience is like no other. Stuart and Austin have made both of us feel extremely welcomed in the store and really taken our needs and opinions into consideration. The whole process is so fun and creative! We spent a lot of time perfecting the fabric, buttons, overall fit, etc. for the suit and they really provided their knowledge and preferences on what direction we should move forward with. The guys really know what they are talking about when it comes to fashion and suits! We felt we had becomes friends with the both of them by the time we walked out of the store. We can't wait to see the final product!
