Okay, so this is the only place for MILES to get any supplies for my reptiles and my tarantula. I have a long list of things that are wrong with this store, so I'll try to keep it as simple as I can: 1- the store is filthy. Everything there has about an inch of dust covering it 2- I once brought my 7 year old son in to purchase a reptile. We picked a small black corn snake...the thing was dead in its enclosure, so my son was very upset about that. We received absolutely zero apologies from the employee about this. She tried to shrug it off before we realized the animal was dead, and said it was a picky eater. Mmhmm, yeah..okay.. 3- I go quite often there to buy feeder crickets. I come to the store on December 30th, 2018, at exactly 3pm. Sorry I was running late, but we needed food for the dragon that my son received as a Christmas gift. I ordered 2 dozen small, 2 dozen med, and 2 dozen large crickets. The older woman who got the crickets to me gave me a bag of 2 dozen DEAD large crickets!! I noticed upon reaching my car and IMMEDIATELY went back inside. Not only did I not get any kind of compensation for the dead feeder crickets, but I still came home with a bag full of corpses because she didn't dispose of them properly before getting me (far less than) two dozen LIVE crickets. I counted when I got home, and there were only 16 that were still breathing. I'd seriously suggest that there were more knowledgeable staff on hand who are willing to actually do their jobs by providing excellent customer service and properly cared for inventory instead of rushing last minute customers out of the door like their sleaze just because they want to leave as soon as quitting time arrives. I'm beyond disgusted by this place, and wouldn't even come here if only there were another store close by.
