Andreas Keller Restaurant

This place is really cute. We wanted a real Dutch experience, so this was our first stop in Leavenworth. I was a little disappointed in the pretzel, shocking, I know. The food was fairly good overall. The one thing I wasnt happy about though, was getting the text message that our table was About to be ready and then having to wait for a half an hour after we got to the restaurant. They seated a lot of people in front of us, which was a bit confusing. I asked the hosts, but they seemed really flustered and couldnt give me a very good answer. It was extremely crowded, so I wouldve rather stayed outside for a half an hour then sit there and wait that entire time.

Make sure to call well ahead of time because the wait can be quite long but they have a great system and it's worth it! They texted us a link for the waitlist and we were able to explore Leavenworth and check up on where we were on the list. They texted us when we were near the top of the list. Make sure to order a giant pretzel to share. We tried it with the cheese sauce - it was like a fondue sauce. The beef goulash tastes home made and it really was tender! The spatzle also delicious. The live music was a guy playing the accordion and it made for a lively atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and the service was good. Visited 26 December 2017.
