After my mom’s stroke, I was worried about the cost of having a 24 hour professional care giver. My mother was bedridden for a long 4 years. I found Amity and the wonderful owner/manager, Nancy. The service and professional nurses provided were as good as it gets. Very caring and compassionate. They became like family to us. Nancy was more than willing to provide a nurse/nurses that were a good fit for my mother’s (difficult) personality. The price for their services were in-line with most other professional caregiver services, but the pricing was much lower than I expected.(I believe because of the free housing provided under this type of arrangement.) I highly recommend them.

Amnity has been incredible on the journey we have taken with my father who had Alzheimer's. In the beginning we needed just a little help. In the end we needed full time help. Amnity worked with us every step of the way. On my father's final hours, the caregivers were extremely compassionate to both him and the family. Highly recommend.

After sending out a caregiver that had an acute, active cough and cold, (unknowingly to me, I was out of town on vacation), which ended up getting my mother extremely ill, resulting in a six day stay at the hospital due to a near fatal case of pneumonia and acute sepsis, I highly suggest you keep looking for another agency... Too much turnover, poor management, with a constant flow of unqualified caregivers, that would rather spend time on their phones, (and in one particular case, even two phones!), than do the job you are over-paying for, like caring for your loved ones...
