    Does not provide timely updates nor calls even though doctors and nurses say they would. No updates on whether patient eats food or not and if they dont eat, just leaves it on table. Patient couldve been starving for 2 days but no updates saying they will feed through IV or explain other options.

    I have never used google reviews until now. I went to the ER in the fall of 2023 due to light headedness and dizziness. After getting my bill, I was charged for hundreds of dollars worth of services never rendered. I had someone with me at the time who verified that I had not gotten those services. Jefferson billing "audited" my bill and said that the bill was correct, even though I went to the hospital and some kind staff members gave me a list of services rendered that day. Guess what? They don't match. The hospital records and Jefferson billing don't match. It's not a surprise either since numerous people on here have complained about the same thing. Even though Jefferson claims my bill "never went to collections," I have multiple threatening voicemails about the bill. This organization seems to lie a lot to its patients and likes to pack their billing. I already made a complaint with the State Attorney General's office this morning along with all my documentation. I will also be reaching out to a friend who works for a local Philly news network and see if I can get in contact with their consumer reports. Due to all the threats, I will be paying the remainder of the bill. I will update when I hear more.

    The ICU at night is especially frightening since there is no intensivist on site. The nurses work as a free for all. The critical care is sub par and the male nurse manager walks around giving hi fives to his nurses as he flexes his arms. I didnt feel confident that these people are caring for my father properly. This hospital just doesnt have the resources. The male manager doesnt seem to know much about clinical issues but does know how to smile and schmooze families and patients.
