I would never buy a Flexsteel product again. I purchased two sofas less than 2 years ago and the cushions and backs are slouching. I called the furniture store were purchased in February 2016 and they told me Flexsteel will provide the backs and cushions but you need to pay to install. That was in February it is June and still have not received the product. Additionally my children are older and don't live with us so it is not like the sofas get a lot of use. Don't waste your money on this higher end product it is not worth it and you will be disappointed

I bought a vintage pullout couch and chair from someone today and the furniture is in almost perfect condition after 40 years

It has been 1 year since we ordered our Flexsteel couch and custom sectional to match from Mealeys. We loved the furniture but the sectional arrived with leather sewn on upside down on one chair and the mechanical not functioning in the other. Mealeys has tried to work with Flexsteel to replace and in subsequent delivery attempts the furniture has arrived damaged - in the most recent attempt to replace, the leather was the wrong tone because the old leather and due lot can be tough to match!We have gone between Flexsteel and Mealeys for almost a year nowand have had zero positive outcomes. Have spent more time on the phone reexplaining how much chaos and incompetence has been occurring over last year than I have been able to enjoy the furniture. Just save yourself the headache and go with a different store and manufacturer.

As I write this review the date is 19 Nov 2017. Two weeks ago two chairs and a couch were delivered by a local furniture store after about an eight week wait. Immediately upon inspection the two chairs upholstery was seen to be less than professional. Uneven seams, gap in seam, batting not uniform, ripples on one arm of both chairs. After a week we returned to the store were we bought them and were allowed to return them after replacing the Flexsteel with Stickley chairs. Additional $3000.00 cost. Now after two weeks of having the couch my wife sits on the floor and my buttocks go numb. To say the couch is firm is an understatement. Flexsteel rep came three days ago and said that the cushions needed time to relax. Ok, I can see that, however the frame is steel (not springs) and when the cushions relax the steel frame will still be hard as a rock. Guess how that will feel. Monday another trip to the furniture store to see if we will be able to return the couch for store credit and buy another brand. Flexsteel is a local company and I was initially happy to provide them my business. Not so happy anymore.
