AdventHealth Medical Group Pediatrics at Lake Mary

This place has seriously gone downhill since AdventHealth took over. You can't get a person on the phone and if you DO, they're not even at the office you called (they're at a call center). It no longer has a personal feel, and the staff is there to do a job, they don't care. The doctors are still there, and I love them, but half the time, you can't get in to see one. Last time they told me to go to Urgent care. They've been my kid's pediatrician for 10 years, but they tell me, "sorry, can't get you in, go to urgent care". It's gone from a family practice to a money making machine and is incredibly impersonal! Find yourself a small practice run by a doctor and not a company!

Brought my son in for a rapid track visit. Dr. spent about 5 mins with him and we are being charged $602 for this visit. When I called the billing department I was told that $382 was for the visit and $221 was for a covid test. How do you get off charging $221 for a covid test when the government gives for free and you can purchase them at a drug store for $20? The billing department told me to contact the office to ask why the charge is so high. When doing so I was referred back to the billing department outsourced in India and the billing supervisor in the office is never available to speak with me.

We've been seeing Dr. Chong at this location for 4 months and have been exceptionally happy. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and great with our son. The staff are also phenomenal. If you're looking for a new pediatrician, I highly recommend this practice.

We will forever be grateful for the team at this location, especially Dr. Roque, for squeezing us in for a last-minute after hours appointment. Everyone was so incredibly kind to us and Dr. Roque had the best bedside manner of any pediatrician Ive ever met. Our baby was in wonderful hands and we felt so comfortable with him. Could not recommend this practice more highly for a truly human medical experience.

We have been using Advent pediatrics on Waymont for over a year now. From our very first visit, Dr. Chong came to the hospital to check out our little guy. Then when my son was two days old and suspected jaundice the office took great care of us. We literally have only experienced top care. We originally started off by seeing Dr. Chong . He was amazing however, on one of our visits we were scheduled with Dr. MARK ROQUE and ever since then we have refused to see any other pediatrician. He is so caring. You feel like hes treating your child like his own. He takes his time with you and he answers all of your questions. I never feel like I have to rely on Google to help me raise my kid. I feel like Dr. Roque is there every step of the way. We have been to this office for wellness and sick visits. On two different occasions my son was sick and it was literally a minor cold but I wanted to make sure there wasnt something else underlying. Both times we came in we were seen by a nurse practitioner or a doctor and was reassured. The nurses at this practice are great and we typically have the same nurse. She never makes us wait but at the same time she never rushes and is very friendly. We have no complaints what so ever!! Love love love this practice for our family!!!
