The good:
-Ultimately produced plans that were accepted by the city so I could obtain a permit.
-Made an effort to produce the plans based on my requests. I was looking to make these stairs myself, and having all of the material easily obtainable from Menards helped simplify it.
The bad:
-Charged per hour to look up the city code. According to the invoice sent to me, almost 40% of the time he spent preparing my plans was spent doing "research".
-Very expensive. He charges $100/hour for pretty much everything he did, including research. Though he did "credit" me to keep it reasonably close to the amount he originally estimated it would cost.
-I shouldn't have needed to leave a negative review for him to correct the mistakes/missing information in the addendum I paid for.
