East Lake Academy

We have had seven of our children attend East Lake Academy. We love East Lake which has been great academically, socially, and spiritually. The East Lake community remains a big part of our lives even now. The school is truly blessed to have excellent teachers and administrators as well as great families involved in the school.

Our daughter graduated from East Lake Academy a couple of years ago and we couldn't be happier.  The classes are small and the teachers engaged. All of her friends have done well in HS because of the foundation they received at East Lake. The teachers are hands on and held to the highest standard of instruction. The administration is great, professional and onto it. I would not hesitate to recommend East Lake to anyone, in fact I have referred a number of families there and all have been extremely happy with their experience.

I wanted to share the positive experience that my family had with East Lake Academy. After relocating from WI to the Chicago area for my job, we enrolled our son in the 5th grade and our daughter in 1st grade at ELA. From the moment we set foot in the school we knew this was the right place for our children. The formation along with the academics is second to none. The small class size allowed our kids to learn and participate. East Lake does not hide it's Catholic identity, but also welcomes all kids of all faiths. East Lake prepared both my kids to excel in High School. They were taught critical thinking skills and writing skills that they still use today. This was an investment that my wife and I made in our children, and we can't be more happier with the results.

We loved being at East Lake Academy for 8 years. My daughter started in 1st grade and son started in 5th grade. When we started at ELA my children felt welcomed by their classmates and teachers. The teachers foster an environment in the classroom where newcomers are welcomed and positively acclimated to the classroom since the values of kindness, patience and virtue are reinforced constantly by the teachers and administrators. The strong academic, solid faith formation and inclusion of sports and clubs make this school the solid foundation that has really allowed both my children who are now alumni (Highschool sophomore and College Sophomore) to flourish and succeed. My daughter is a current A student, Deans List and a 3 Sport Scholar athlete. ELA was a strong academic foundation with a solid sports foundation. My son flourished at a local private high school academically and in sports going to State finals in cross country and track. Both sports that are found at ELA. It is also a great family community! Teachers work with and listen to parents - which we loved! Thank you East Lake Academy!
