Everyone in the office is extremely helpful and seems to want to help connect people to resources. However, The gentleman that sometimes answers the phone and that is at the check-in window is the exception. His demenor is a projection that everyone around him is profoundly stupid. I have interacted with him twice, once in person, of which I stated I would return to the office at a later time as he was completely unprofessional and unhelpful. It seems unwise to have an individual that seems to be carrying so much hatred, so much anger, complete disrespect, and self righteousness at the front line of assisting families in need. His behavior is abusive and could potentially keep someone that was/is encountering a home life of abuse from recieving services.

The website for social services is confusing, NOT user friendly. You upload your documents and then you get a letter (paper waste and postage) saying we need this document. So you go to the agency in person and have them upload it for you, and the people there are NOT helpful. Do I stay here at the counter or do I go sit and wait? If you sit they will answer the phone or take the next person in line and you're just wondering what to do. LaGrange site.
