I would have rated 0 but it wasn't available. Cherokee is the worst place for mental and physical health. I've been trying to get my mental health medication since 5/2023 and my blood pressure, cholesterol,pain, asthma,and diabetes since 8/2023. I keep scheduling appointments but have yet to be seen by a provider. I've been left sitting in the waiting room for over 30mins to the point I have to leave because my anxiety and panic attacks starts. If you want providers that are professional and compassionate STAY AWAY FROM CHEROKEE HEALTH SERVICES.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The medical care is excellent. I have been going through Cherokee Health for about eleven years now. I have recommended it to friends and they agree that the care is excellent.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Please, Please do not waste your time. The physicians at this location are all pill-pushing quacks. I tried to be patient and open to what they had to say, but they actually do not know what they are doing. I had been experiencing back pain, and the doctor (I will not say names) stated that I have " A little arthritis in my back." Instead of developing a treatment plan for arthritis, he prescribed Duloxetine for the pain. Given the excruciating pain that I am in, I had kindly asked that he help me get on disability. He said, " I really don't like to encourage disability." That is a nice personal opinion, but I am the one suffering. The other doctor wanted to prescribe different methods of birth control that had been recalled or known to cause severe adverse effects. When I kindly told her that I was not comfortable taking those medications, she got irritated and said, "Well those are your options!" Pharmaceutical representatives offer physicians incentives and bonuses when they prescribe certain medications. That is the real reason why she was so irritated. That is why they prescribed medication that was not indicated for my diagnosis. They will prescribe anything just get that fancy steak dinner. They retaliate when you file a complaint about their malpractice by not scheduling you again. That is okay though because you are much better off seeking treatment elsewhere. If you do seek treatment here, count on being misdiagnosed and being prescribed a cocktail of pills. If you value your health and your life, run in the other direction.
