Kimpton Ella's Cottages

I wished I could leave a 10 star review. The rooms are VERY nice. The beds are SUPER comfortable and I would 100% recommend this place than a hotel. If you are vacationing at Key West, Ella's Cottages is the place to go.

I would never stay here again. Its over priced and failed to deliver at every turn. Rooms are small. Hardly any amenities. Our private patio was shared and not private. And it was expensive. What a rip off! Save yourselves.

Great hotel and friendly staff. Laid back atmosphere. Close to everything.  We loved our room above the pool

We travel to Fl from DC twice a year. We stay at Kimpton Brice with our dog. This is the only reason we remain a loyal customer. Well our last visit on Feb 5th turned out to be a disaster. First, they wanted to charge me for 2 rooms (myself/wife & dog). The front desk stated they could not assist with the double room charge but for me to take it up with booking.com. Next they charged me almost $50.00 to park on the street using their valet service. But the piece de resistance was no dogs allowed in the restaurant or bar. We ate their dinner (pasta out of a can) in the open courtyard and froze. I was informed by front desk that breakfast begins at 6am. I arrived for breakfast (pay extra) at 5:45am. Waited to 6:15 when I was told not open till 7am, and no dogs. Needless to say, we will not be back.A final note, the next day we arrived at Kimpton Ella in Key West ($700./nite..over rated/overcharged) for the week. This too turned out to be a disaster. Staff was several pegs higher caliber than Savannah Kimpton but they would do nothing to remove (water hose) the roosters (protected animal) perched on the telephone wires close by which crows each day, starting about 4am and continues sporadically (sometimes every 30 seconds) until 8am, EVERY day of our week long visit. Needless to say, my daytime activities were very sluggish due to a lack of sleep. Never again Kimpton - IHG Hotels
