Salesmen Aidan was professional and extremely helpful. His camping and RV knowledge helped answer all the questions I had. Great selection and friendly staff.

Horrible experience!!!!! So I submitted some information online to inquire about financing and RVs. A salesman named Nick gave me a prompt call. I told him over the phone I have a Chevy equinox that can only pull up to 1500 pounds so before he runs a credit check I ask a few questions, do they have RVs that are under that weight, here is my monthly payment Range, etc. He said that is very manageable. I will go ahead and pull your credit. OK speed forward to a week later when we show up to camping world. Greeted very rudely by a gentleman at what seems to be a front desk when you walk into the store. I told him I have been working with Nick. Is he available? (I spoke with Nick earlier that day on the phone, so I know he was working) The gentleman proceeded to tell me he was going to have another man help me. I kindly said thats great, but Nick knows my scenario, the weight of my car, my financing needs, etc. why would you put me with a different salesman? The gentleman continue to ignore me and gave me to another sales rep. That then started asking all the questions that Nick already knew. We were walking around looking at pop up campers and I told the gentleman again I told Nick I can only pull up to 1500 pounds. He told me that they are pop it pop up campers available. The gentleman proceeded to tell me theres nothing under 1500 pounds. But let me go find Nick. So here I am thinking. OK great no Nick knows my whole scenario. I feel better about this. Nick comes up to me and proceeds to tell me I had no idea you can only pull up to 1500 pounds I proceeded to tell him yes I did over the phone and you guaranteed me that there are popper campers underneath that wait thats why I wanted to talk to you before you ran my credit. He further than apologize for the miscommunication. Then he said we have a pop-up camper that hasnt been an inventory yet. It will be underneath that weight give me until Monday Tuesday and I will reach back out to you with that information. Great I am thinking. A week later and I still havent heard from Nick and now my credit has been ran in dinged. I am so disappointed with Camping World. Go elsewhere!!!! to me. They are nothing but idiots, who dont listen to your needs, obtain a copy of your credit report, and then you get nothing out of it.
