I would like to thank Ricky and his team for all of the work they do in assisting with snow removal and salting. They are also good with fixing things in the apartment.

I have lived in Hillside Gardens for many years and I have to say that the Maintenance crews have always been top notch. I especially think this of Ricky and his crew. A request goes in and immediately the concern is addressed, handled and a solution found. Very rarely is a maintenance issue not addressed immediately. Everyone at Hillside Gardens from office staff to Maintenance crew are professional, helpful, willing to go the extra mile. I know friends in high end apartment complexes that don't get one tenth of the service and professionalism I receive. Hillside Gardens is the large community with everything you need but has that nice hometown feel. Keep up the great work!

I've been living in a one bedroom apartment in the complex for about 8 months now. As with any other apartment complex, there are positives and negatives... The positives: The price. The prices here are affordable. As you know, rent prices everywhere have increased but you get alot of bang for your buck. I have a small balcony, central air and heat, a walk in closet, and a decent amount of space for under 1400 a month. Not too shabby. Location: If you're a shopper like myself, you're in luck! Walmart, Wawa, Aldi, Dollar Tree, etc are all nearby. There are a VAST amount of restaurants in a 2 mile radius. Foodies rejoice! Not to mention the various parks and the two malls located within 10 minutes of the complex. I love the convenience! The Vibe: Very quiet community...for the most part. Everyone minds their business and keeps to themselves. You don't hear sirens and yelling and ignorance all day long. It's very chill. Maintenance: Very efficient and speedy service. If you need something fixed, it will be fixed and fixed QUICKLY! I have never had a problem with maintenance. They were very responsive. Now the negatives... This place has ABSOLUTELY NO soundproofing. You will hear everything! I have the displeasure of living on the second floor. The neighbors above me are very loud and inconsiderate. There is lots of stomping and banging. I have tried to address this with the office and they gave me an email address and told me to write my complaint. Not exactly the resolution I hoped for The appliances: For some reason, my stove is always smoky. It has been that way since I moved in. The stove, dishwasher and fridge are older. Also the cabinets and drawers show signs of age/wear and tear. Its not too bad but it's definitely not modern. Overall, I really like the place. I definitely will finish out my lease but I am still on the fence about renewing. Give the place a try and see if it's for you. Update: 2 years, 7 months... So...after all this time, I think I can write a much better review based on my experiences. If given an apartment in building 8, RUN!!! Don't even pass go. Where do I begin? Stolen packages, a woman who lives on the first floor who actively records you against your will every time you step out of your apartment and sings/screams very loudly in Spanish(the office knows and will encourage you to file a report but refuses to do anything on their end), and a neighbor who parks 2 work vehicles and 1 personal vehicle in the lot so there are never any spots if you work late. Sounds like fun right? The walls are again (say it with me kids) PAPER THIN!!! You will hear EVERYTHING including the pitter patter of little feet (and the bigger feet of the 10 different people living in a 2 bedroom apartment)going on above your head. You will be ANGRY and no one in that office will do anything about it. It's cheaper than most other places nearby, but that's for a reason. I'm sure there are other lovely units in the complex but avoid building 8 like the PLAGUE!!! Don't say I didn't warn you.

Rick and the maintenance team are great!! I have been living here for over 5 months and have nothing to complain about. When we needed assistance, they were always friendly and helpful.

Ive resided in Hillside Gardens for over a decade. The maintenance crew is kind and attentive to my needs as a tenant. If I contact Ricky (head superintendent) directly, he ensures my requests are addressed. In addition, the property is close to the middlesex county greenway and multiple major highways. I love living here.
