Houston Methodist Continuing Care Hospital

Multiple nurses at this location have failed to provide adequate care. They have ignored my mom multiple times when she called for help. Theyve let her IV bleed out 2-3 times. Left her all night with a fever while having seizures. I wouldnt leave a loved one at this hospital if you have other options.

This place help my family member tremendously. This is a high quality facility. The dining options are great as well. No place is perfect, but they do try to rectify any issue you may have. The lead of Patient Relations takes his job serious and is good at what he does. Despite the negative reviews, I would recommend, based upon my own experience.

My husband died there . I was told by a NP he was the most stable patient in the entire facility and they dont know what happened. The dr in charge has been my husbands pcp for almost two decades and no one has reached out to me with condolences or closure . Their silence is deafening and makes we wonder what happened that day .

I just spoke with a young lady named Amy twice I asked to speak with the head nurse she questioned me about why I needed to speak with the head nurse none of her business she placed me on hold and I held about five minutes and I called back. Amy answer the phone again once I addressed her by her name and told her she had placed me on hold. She came up with this excuse that they had nurse the chart nurse was in a room with a patient, I doubt not but if she had any intelligence about herself, she wouldve told me that on the first phone call instead of placing me on hold for five minutes when you treat people disrespectfully what do you expect back to you and your family these people go to church they sit on the front row what god do they pray for too !! because the one I read said treat people like you wanted to be treated I went to the hospital on 7 December with shortness of breath. The nurse that was assigned to me was horrible Brian, young man that came in to do my IV I explain to them Im a big lady with very small things. Please dont fish well long story short my arm is still a black blue and purple and today is 15 December. Listen to your patience treat me like he would want me to treat yours. Happy holidays.

Worst place ever. Almost killed my mom in the 2 1/2 weeks she was there.
