Guadalajara Cafe

I love mexican food, but this was the worst mexican restaurant I have ever been to. I ordered a quesadilla with goat cheese and something else and that is definitely not what I ended up with. It was a gooey black mixture and i could not swallow it. The server never came over to us again after bringing us our food. It was slow, they barely gave us any chips and salsa, no water refills and never had the chance to order a margarita, Took over an hour and I didn't end up eating.

Being from the Gulf of Texas, I know Mexican food. This is only a semblance of traditional Mexican cuisine. Both our dishes were covered in bland sauce while the meat was oversalted to such a degree that we did not even want to take our remainder with us. To add to the troubles, our waiter didn't undersand English very well AND my food had GLASS in it. We will not be returning here under any circumstances. $15 per plate is better spent at Paparicos or Panchos.

Service was adversarial.We asked for sopaipillas and they brought out hard tortilla chips and honey .We asked for the soft honey filled pastry like they serve at Kokopelis on 95th and Nall. The owner was arrogant and told us we were wrong and there was no other kind of sopaipillas but his.I did not write the last highly rated review posted wrongly under my name.

Server had plain personality. Tamale came out cold in middle. Waiter annoyed when asked to heat it. Odd considering it was onky 4 people in the place. Waiter came back with a dangerously hot heavy plate. Same plate.
