My daughter in 3rd grade was diagnosed with Dyslexia,Dyscalculia and Visual processing disorder. Our evaluator suggested we do tutoring at ALP. It was the BEST decision we ever made. When our Maren started she was at a 1st grade reading and math level. The work that Rachel and Cameron did with her was unbelievable. They started at the beginning, the basics. Maren went every day for 2 hours. She did 185 hours. She worked so hard. They were so kind to her and supportive. Just writing this and thinking about her time there makes me cry. When she was done, she was reading at a 4th grade level and doing basic math. Her math sense grew so much. I will never forget the number line that Cameron made for her that went the length of the building so she could understand a number line. Maren would not have had the skills to make it through 4-7th grade without going to ALP. They gave her knowledge and confidence to know that she could learn. I can’t say enough about what ALP does for kids and families. And they are always there for you. Thank you so much for everything!!!

We started with ALP this February for our daughter (2nd grade). We searched around, even looking at out-of-town providers. ALP got great reviews from others who have gone through the program and we had a wonderful initial conversation with Rachel. She explained that they'd use their judgment as to my daughter's progress in order to tailor the program to meet her needs- very unlike some of the others that simply had a program and would run you through no matter what. The teachers at ALP were the very best, even dealing with everything being moved to the online environment halfway through. Our daughter just adored them and we could tell that they would do anything to help her with her disability. Now that we have finished the program, we couldn't be happier with her progress. She was so very sad to say goodbye at the end of 4 months, but we know that they'll help us advocate for her needs in the future. Could not recommend ALP more.
